EXC!TE Watertown Announces Format Change: Introducing Monthly Networking Hours and Quarterly Growth Events
Watertown, SD - August 2024 - EXC!TE Watertown is excited to announce a significant change in our programming format designed to better serve our members and the greater Watertown community. Beginning this fall, we will transition from our traditional monthly Lunch & Learns to a new and dynamic model that includes a monthly Coffee Networking Hour on the first Tuesday of each month, and quarterly personal and professional growth events featuring inspiring and educational speakers.
New Monthly Coffee Networking Hour
Our monthly Coffee Networking Hour will provide members with a regular opportunity to connect, share ideas, and build valuable relationships in a relaxed and informal setting. The next Networking Hour will be held on August 20, from 7:00 - 10:00am at Caribou Coffee. Going forward, these gatherings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month, creating a consistent space for networking and collaboration.
Quarterly Personal and Professional Growth Events
In place of our monthly Lunch & Learns, EXC!TE Watertown will now host quarterly events focused on personal and professional development. These events will feature expert speakers and engaging topics designed to empower our members to achieve their career and life goals. The first of these quarterly events will take place in the fall/winter of 2024 and will focus on career progression.
Membership Structure Update
To align with our new format, we are updating our membership structure:
Basic Membership: $75 per year (includes access to monthly Coffee Networking Hours)
Enhanced Membership: $125 per year (includes access to monthly Coffee Networking Hours and all quarterly events)
Student Membership: $40 per year ( includes basic membership benefits)
Basic Corporate Membership: $300/year - Commit to four memberships, receive one free. Membership includes basic membership level for all employee members and listing on website as corporate member. Corporate discounts will be applied to employee members in groups of five. Additional members may be added at standard levels.
Enhanced Corporate Membership: $500/year - Commit to four memberships, receive one free. Membership includes enhanced membership level for all employee members and listing on website as corporate member. Corporate discounts will be applied to employee members in groups of five. Additional members may be added at standard levels.
Basic Memberships at a rate of $75/year will be available through August 31, 2024. Basic members and non-members alike will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to quarterly events, ensuring that everyone can benefit from these growth opportunities.
Continued Commitment to Outreach
EXC!TE Watertown will also continue to support and participate in outreach events as opportunities arise, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement and support. The next scheduled EXC!TE Outreach event will be volunteering for PACH on October 16 at 6pm.
We believe these changes will provide greater value to our members and allow us to better fulfill our mission of fostering personal and professional growth within the Watertown community.
